Cardstock Christmas Tree - By Kim Hughes

1. Use a full 12 x 12 piece of card stock and roll into a tree shape. Adhere closed and cut off the excess paper on the bottom so that it sits straight on a flat surface.
2. Tape a popsicle stick to the inside of the cone on top. This is how the star will stay on.
3. Cut 4 x 2 strips of card stock and roll around a pencil. Add curls using Zots by Therm O Web Adhesives. Working around in rows, starting with the bottom and work your way to the top.
4. Cut thin strips of card stock and steam them down the tree. Add them at different lengths. They can be tucked underneath if they are long enough.
5. Roll a smaller cone for the star. Cut a star and mat multiple times. You will adhere the star around the cone.

TIP: After making this tree, I would have used the same color base as the curls. Just something to keep in mind. Try a different color combination and give away as gifts. You can also use smaller curls for a different result.
